This entire article is way too biassed. infinita giving a perspetive on new real estate developments is not going to be a realistic nor balanced perspective on the reality of real estate development. it's like listening to balaji.

you are sales people pretending to be unbiassed analysts.

why? this only gets fewer people to trust you and acts as a filter for the true believers to join your cult.

if you want quality people and quality decisions, you'll just accept you are like a hotel or time share salesman. and stop with the nonsense. my sincere opinion, to help you succeed. drop the pretense.

I get where you’re coming from, but this isn’t pretending to be neutral.

It’s written from lived experience.

I think there’s value in sharing what we’ve learned while actually building, even if it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

yes but if 2 years from now the network state is a total failure and has no real successses to show, you're going to have to start looking in the mirror at some point no? or what is the true yardstick of cult like insanity...a refusal to question the self, and doing the same thing, over and over again. I hope the network state succeeds in some small pockets. I don't see it happening though. i wanted to see it happening 2 years ago, as I thought it was the apotheosis of decades of people wanting to build new ways of living. I've changed my mind. it is not the apotheosis and is part of another few decades of experimentation and will not succeed now, because it is preoccupied with the notion that the missing link was a better form of money. That helps, bitcoin helps, pseudo anonymity CAN help, but no, it's not the only missing link. there are many other ones . the crucial 'opinion' i have however is that the so called tns 'community' is not capable of seeing what is missing . and will not change to be able to see it. there is no reason to think this can change, because the leadership cannot change, it is fundamentally a different leadership that will be needed. and so , like with spiral dynamics, this will take time for evolution of the consciousness . for the next 7 years we will be in the phase of the money mind the 'holocracy' mind. this is not a bad obstacle but a necessary plateau , upon which some progress, but insufficient progress will be made. same as the period where people were investing in seastading 10 years ago. necessary failures. but seasteading was wholly stupid and predictably dumb and didn't add much at that time. for now, crtypo is not 'stupid' like seasteading was AT ALL> it's quite useful. but the entire 'biotech' movement within the network state movement strikes me like a seastading niche within the space. at least the 'space' obsessed people in this movement KNOW that space requires massive resources for hardware and rockets. the biotech people are still lacking self knowledge, and while desci is great, it's just software not hard-bio-wet-bio. so the bio-niche is still a disstraction. freedom to inject doesn't mean you need new startups to make money to succeed in building new RE devleopments.

Rome wasn't built in a day...

can you share the challenges you have encountered building startup societies?

why don't you show everyone how it's done?

don't argue, build!

i hear this all the time. 'don't argue , build', not directed at me per se, but people just shout this out and parrot balaji and others in the crypto space , particularly the 'hackathon mindset'. build fast, build garbage, and don't focus on communication and ontology and wisdom . and voting itself will just solve all problems, as if wisdom is the magic of the swarm, like we are just ants.

haha, yes. keep building. it is good and fun but if you , dont' stop to think about the foundations of your tower, when you find it becomes a labrynth, you can wonder why you did'nt actually understand what you are building. you're not building a state, nor a network. you're trying to rebuild a nation, and a nation is people. large numbers start with small ones and with adults making new humans. mothers build people first. not consumers. not programmers. not money. biology is at the base of your tower. now you're ready to start building.

let me put it in different words so you don't straw-man the argument: criticize by creating, it's an open invitation!

you might be confused, you say i'm "trying to rebuild a nation", Infinita do not ever use that word, to be fair other projects in the space use it tho; Praxis, Draper Nation, Afropolitan. Infinita is building a network of regulatory fast-track hubs where founders build frontier technology through computation, and science. after 10 months in operation Infinita has 2 hubs and more coming

help me understand you point, cause i'm not seeing it. thanks

yes , i agree! infinita is just a startup incubator business. i hope it succeeds at this goal.

speaking of biotech , how many members of infinita had children (birthed) and raised babies at infinita since its founding. ? just curious.

zero birthed children at Infinita, after 10 months in ops its hard to expect otherwise. to my knowledge between 0-3 babies have been brought to life in Próspera since it started ops in 2020 (i might be wrong tho)

neither of this, or the majority of projects in the space are built around forming a family or having children, it's a nice-to-have not a must to the value proposition. however cabin.city is very family friendly, i'm sure they have seen newborns

how is this relevant anyway?
